The Jack Wolfskin Kids Penguin is a winter weatherproof jacket that teams waterproof and breathable TEXAPORE 4x4 with a warm POLYFIBER FILL interlining and a snug, 200 fleece lined hood. Suitable for wear from autumn right through to spring, this is what penguins would wear if they could work the zips.

SPECS - Jack Wolfskin Kids Penguin:

* waterproof and breathable TEXAPORE 4X4 2L
Used in basic weather protection apparel.

A TEXAPORE material with a water column of 4,000mm and a MVTR of 4,000g/m²/24h. The microporous PU-coating is applied to a Polyamide support fabric.
* very warm POLYFIBER FILL
A warm polyester padding. It is produced as a thermal liner in different weights/degrees of thermal retention. The compact structure of the fibres absorb virtually no moisture and dry very quickly.

We use POLYFIBER FILL as the padding in our winter jackets and trousers, among other things. Different weights of material are used according to the different areas of use.

The weight is measured in g/m². The higher the amount, the greater the heat retention properties.

* hood lined in warm, versatile and robust NANUK 200
A universal and multipurpose polyester fleece with a velour (short pile) structure on both sides for medium heat retention. Ideal for summer mountaineering or as an extra layer of insulation in the winter.

The fleece is soft and fluffy to the touch. It is also durable, easy to clean and fast drying. NANUK 200 is JACK WOLFSKIN’s own brand.

* KIDS ULTRA LIGHT HOOD
Cut out of the body of the garment, i.e. firmly attached to the jacket, this hood offers maximum weather protection at a minimum weight.

The field of vision can be regulated by a one-hand operated encapsulated drawcord toggle and an elasticated tape at the back automatically regulates the volume. A storm peak provides extra face protection.
A fixed hood which is tailored into the jacket. It has an adjustable field of vision and volume.
