The Fuera Ascent Windproof Jacket, made from Nikwax Windproof, is tough, lightweight, windproof, rapid drying and offers maintainable water-repellency.

The technical Fuera Ascent is an exceptionally versatile windproof for worldwide summer alpine and multi-activity use, being harness, rope, pack and helmet friendly. The Directional Windproof fabric provides renewable water-repellency and excellent breathability plus is tough, lightweight and rapid drying. The generous sleeve/torso vents allow excellent temperature control and work systemically with the Summit Hoodie Fleece to create a highly flexible duo, precisely adjustable for variable conditions and a wide range of temperatures.

Our View: The Fuera Ascent jacket works really well as a technical windproof jacket and when mated with its fleece counterpart - the Summit Hoodie, is a really flexible garment suited for a range of situations and seasons.

The Fuera Ascent Jacket is design to fit exactly with the Summit Hoodie fleece. It has a more fitted shape with pockets positioned higher in the jacket (for use with a harness or pack) and features long 'pit' zips (that actually extend from the mid chest to the mid bicep on the arm) - absolutely loads of ventilation. The adjustable hood is large enough to accommodate a helmet and the Summit hoodie has a double zip along with a hem chord with a scooped tail. When combined with the Fuera Ascent jacket, it makes a really useful jacket.

- Helmet friendly hood with wired visor offering vertical and horizontal adjustment to maximize visibility. When rolled and secured, the hood seals the neck area.

- Underarm panels provide excellent freedom of movement for climbing and other activities.

- Scooped tail for lumbar protection when stretching or bending.

- Precisely adjustable cuffs with hook & loop fastening, so sleeves can be secured or easily pushed up.

- Two-way reversed front zip for temperature control.

- Easy access forward-positioned sleeve/torso vents with two-way zips provide excellent airflow with minimal water ingress even in rain. Vents are still accessible when wearing a pack and allow access to inner layers.

- Hem cord for additional temperature control, prevents rucking when load carrying.

- All features designed for single gloved hand adjustment.

- Designed to complement the Summit Hoodie in fit and features.
