Just wanted to say thanks for great service last week when I called into the shop. I purchased the Salomon XTWings 5 rucksack on Sunday 1st, used it to run the 3 Peaks on Monday 2nd and it was perfect. The advice I got at the time, and the subsequent chats I had about other Salomon S-Lab equipment (and trail running in general) when I called in a couple of more times last week were absolutely spot on, very friendly, and with no pressure at all to purchase, just advice for me to make my own mind up.
Even if I don't make it back to Settle for a while I will certainly be heading to your website!

I recently bought a pair of Haglofs rugged mountain trousers from you and just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thanks for the excellent service provided.
I hadn't dealt with Castleberg Outdoors before but right from the initial telephone contact I found everyone to be really pleasant and only too happy to help with enquiries.
Unfortunately the trousers I ordered didn't fit but this was really down to me assuming the fabric had a bit more stretch in it than it did. I returned them for exchange and was really impressed both by the gentleman I spoke to and the speed at which they were replaced. I know your site points out that you're a family run company but it really is nice to deal with genuinely helpful people.

The service I received from Castleberg outdoors was faultless. I had been let down by another supplier over stock and so I sent a stock enquiry over to yourselves to check availability before ordering. I received an e-mail straight back from Steven to say that the belt was in stock and that he had put one to one side pending an order.
