Well, the longer cut, the waist draw cord and the dual colourway, for starters. Then there is the fabric itself: tough, yet super-soft TEXAPORE SMOOTHLIGHT 2L, reinforced at the critical wear zones on the shoulders and sleeve with abrasion resistant TEXAPORE TASLAN 2L. | REGULAR SYSTEM ZIP This is the longer version of the two SYSTEM ZIP variations, featured on our longer cut weatherproof and insulated jackets. The front zip of inner jacket is exactly compatible with the secondary zip on the shell jacket for easy docking. Various fleece or insulated inner jackets can be combined to suit the potential activity and the prevailing climatic conditions. COMFORT HOOD The COMFORT HOOD is permanently attached to the jacket. The speciality here is that the COMFORT HOOD can be rolled up into itself to form a slim-line collar with no unsightly bumps and bulges. The advantage over conventional roll and stow hoods is that the collar size can be reduced without doing a hood completely. One-hand operated drawcords regulate field of vision and volume and a pull-down stiffened peak makes for complete comfort. ARTICULATED ELBOWS The elbow of the garment is anatomically tailored to conform to the natural biomechanics of the elbow, thus significantly improving freedom of movement. SECRET POCKET A secure, weather-protected pocket for important papers and documents. The pocket zip is positioned between the front zip of the jacket and its weatherproof covering flap. This design means the pocket is not only hidden from view but can also be accessed without having to zip open the jacket. The contents are well protected from the rain, since the pocket is located behind the protective shell of the jacket. 3-IN-1-JACKET The 3-in-1 jacket consists of a waterproof and breathable TEXAPORE shell jacket teamed with a removable fleece/ insulated inner jacket, which docks with the shell garment by means of a SYSTEM ZIP. Since each garment can also be worn as a stand-alone jacket, this gives you a total of five different wear options: 1. Shell jacket and inner jacket combined: full-spec winterproof weather protection and insulation. 2. Shell jacket alone: weather protective functionality. 3. Inner jacket alone: lightweight and comfortable insulation. Each component in the system has a mutually compatible cut, fabrics and detailing. |
| TEXAPORE SMOOTHLIGHT 2L TEXAPORE SMOOTHLIGHT 2L is a waterproof and breathable fabric that is characterised by its super-soft, rustle free finish. The face fabric consists of a fine grade nylon twill with a matt look. In spite of its low intrinsic weight (158g/m²) the material is durably robust. A microporous PU coating is applied to the inner surface, which delivers an MVTR of 9.000g/m²/24h and a water column of 6.000mm. |
