We’re stocking (virtually!) the entire range of
Inov-8 clothing this season and we’re really excited about the new range. With trail running in mind, the range has been developed with some great features and innovative designs that we reckon will find some firm fans with our customers. Here’s some highlights below:
Inov-8 Race Elite 150 Stormshell
The men’s and ladies stormshells are the new ultra-light top of the range waterproof pullovers from Inov-8. They use a 2.5 Layer proprietary material with some impressive breathability figures. Best of all the weight is great! Worn as little as possible but carried often just in case, 150g (140g for the Women’s version) is super and it’s a nice pack size too.
Inov-8 Race Elite 70 Windshell
The 70g windproof is next in line for our favourites list – ultra light (and it’s only 60g for the Women’s version!), very packable with a neat, trim fit – this is likely to be the daily use, just in case windproof of choice for many of our customers.
Inov-8 Race Elite 260 Thermoshell
The Inov-8 Thermoshell is likely to be the eye-catcher of the inov-8 clothing range. It’s an ultra-light, reversible insulated pullover – one of the best uses of Pertex® Quantum in our view. It works for cold weather training, foul weather racing and warm ups equally well and several of the mens and ladies sizes are likely to be snaffled by staff before they reach the shop!
Inov-8 legwear and base layers
Last but not least it’s worth mentioning both the legwear and base layers. Both are great value and should prove a hit with trail-specific features and some great fabrics. The legwear comes in full and 3 quarter length tights and shorts and the base layers include long sleeve and zip neck variants – all have reflective, pockets and comfortable, breathable fabrics that should prove durable, solid performers for our mountain running customers…
