Scott has a growing reputation in the trail running sector in Europe. This is thanks to many ultra race successes where the brand is already well established in the US market. Put simply, not much spare stock makes it over here. We’ve managed to get some limited stock of the best sellers – the T2 Kinabalu 2.0 shoe and the Scott Trail Rocket.
The Scott T2 Kinabalu 2.0 shoe is the classic all-rounder of the Scott shoe range. The Kinabalu is now updated but remains true to it’s design roots of a multi-terrain trail shoe designed for long distance comfort and support… Details of the Scott T2 Kinabalu 2.0 – Mens and Scott T2 Kinabalu 2.0 – Womens shoes are here.
The Scott Trail Rocket is a low, light trail racing shoe. Aside from a great fit in our view (plenty of room in the toe box and firm control around the heel), we like the low ride and lighter feel that the Aero Foam midsole gives (at least 15% lighter than a traditional EVA midsole)… More details of the Scott Trail Rocket – Mens and the Scott Trail Rocket – Womens are here.
Both shoes feature a couple of neat innoviations:
Scott eRide – the shoe design incorporates a curved outsole to create a ‘rocker’ which promotes smoother, more efficient running
Scott Aero Foam - Used as a midsole Scott Aero Foam is 15% lighter than traditional EVA midsoles. It’s also longer lasting and performs better as a cushioning material.
