salomon-logo Yesterday Mary, Catherine and James A were let loose at the Salomon running tech training day near Keswick in the Lake District. The wind was blowing but the rain stayed away as we tested some great Salomon footwear, clothing and Suunto watches. Luckily for us we got to try the Salomon S-Lab light Jacket which was well needed as when we ascended the hills and the winds got stronger. Even though these jackets are ultra-light, they are extremely windproof, water resistant, very breathable and strong. The route was a little bit more than damp - it was soaked! We still pushed up hill along streams across muddy paths and slippery rocks testing the shoes on the terrain they were designed for. Mary and James A also tested the Suunto Quest - comparing times, peak heart rates, averages and even how long we should take to recover. We Learned all sorts of interesting facts and, more importantly, we got some really valuable hands-on experience and feel for the product. All in all a great day – lots of fun and lots of stuff to pass on to customers.
