Despite its minimal design the vest still packs a punch with 2 600ml water bottles on the front shoulder straps and ample room in the 4.5L total capacity for essentials to see you through an event. With a single main compartment, 2 zipped wing pockets, gel pockets and a bungee cord, everything you need to carry can be.
The Ultimate Direction SJ Ultra Vest is designed by Scott Jurek and claims to offer the best weight to capacity ratio for any hydration pack currently available. Weighing just 213g (without bottles) with a 9.2L capacity it is easy to see why. This exceptional minimalist pack weight has been achieved by using the latest ultra-light, ultra-strong Cuben Fiber material which allows the main compartment to bellow without risking tearing. Multiple pockets and pole/ice axe attachments mean everything you need for ultra races is covered.
The Ultimate Direction PB Adventure Vest is designed by Peter Bakwin and has the largest carrying capacity of the Signature Range at 12L but its weight is still remarkably low 340g (without bottles). With multiple, easy to access pockets the PB Adventure pack is the ideal choice for longer events or faced paced mountain adventures.
