Our View - Exped SynMat UL S:

The Exped SynMat UL S is an ultra-light, ultra-compact sleeping mat with excellent warmth and comfort.  Providing protection down to temperatures as low as -3 degrees the mat also has the really clever Schnozzel Pumpbag which allows you to inflate the mat instantly while preventing humidity from your breath affecting the insulation. It also doubles as an ultra-lightweight compression stuffsack.

The mat also features the Exped FlatValve Technology which sees separate inflation and deflation valves, both of which are non-protruding and more durable than traditional valves.

All of this for a mat that weighs just 415g (pump bag an additional 60g) and packs down to a really small size for easy carriage when you need to keep weight down.
