The Mens’ Paramo Velez Adventure Light Smock is Paramo’s answer to the need for an excellent lightweight waterproof smock-style jacket suitable for a whole host of sporty activities including adventure racing, mountain biking, running, climbing, orienteering, scrambling, lightweight backpacking to name but a few. The smock style of the Velez offers superb weather protection and uses the soft Nikwax ‘light’ analogy waterproof fabric for maximum comfort.

The Velez Adventure Light smock has a host of useful features for the wide range of activities to which it is suited. There are twin handy two-way zipped vents on the front sides of the jacket for temperature control with easy access to a full width hand warming/storage pocket that sits neatly across the front – you can even hold your own hands together inside to warm up! Ideal for maps too. The roomy outer ‘dry’ chest pocket with zip and storm flap is great for stashing items you need quick access to, from a map to a mars bar.

The fully directional waterproof and windproof performance of the Velez Light offers protection for all year round use whilst being 19% lighter than the Velez Adventure Smock which uses the standard Nikwax fabric. This makes the Adventure Light Smock ideal for high pulse activities and includes reflective strips for visibility and double layering at crucial points for technical rucksack use. The chest zip is reversed for comfort and to avoid abrasion whilst the Velcro cuffs allow the sleeves to be rolled up for additional temperature control. The peaked roll away adjustable hood has been designed to give maximum vision and combined with the high collar with central, single-hand adjustment this ensures excellent protection from all the elements.
