Trail Running Shoes

Welcome to our Trail Running Shoes Section at Castleberg Outdoors. We specialise in trail running of all kinds - from training on paths and trails to fell running, ultra running and everything between. 

Why? Because just outside the door of our shop are some of the best trails around - miles and miles of paths, tracks and trails in the Yorkshire Dales national park. We are based in Settle, North Yorkshire and literally a stone’s throw from the shop is the national park. The limestone country of the Yorkshire Dales is the ideal outdoor playground for trail running – it’s challenging but without being extreme, it’s remote, unspoilt and dramatic – with hundreds of miles of trails, it’s very ‘runable’ and ideal for trail runners of all abilities.

With all this on our doorstep, we talk, face to face, to thousands of trail runners about kit and, combined with our sometimes challenging weather, we’ve honed a great range of trail running kit for all levels of runners. What’s more, being an outdoor shop means we can the best possible advice for trail runners as all our focus is on the trails. All in all you can be sure we'll have talked about, handled and discussed all the gear in this section. If it's in this section, it will be good quality and perform well for you!
