Our View – Scarpa Spin 2.0 Men:
The Scarpa SPIN 2.0 has been designed as a fast & light trail running show for short to medium distances over technical terrain. Especially suited to trail and skyrunning the SPIN 2.0 introduces PEBAX RNEW®, an innovative material in the trail running world which is eco-friendly and provides high levels of cushioning and durability.
With the Sock-Fit LW you get a reinforced upper and overlays positioned to hold the foot securely without pressure points, making the Scarpa SPIN 2.0 well suited to rocky conditions. Breathable mesh in the toebox and between overlays ensure your feet stay cool without sacrificing durability.
Outsole wise, grip is taken care of thanks to the Vibram MegaGrip compound which we have found to be hugely reliable in a wide range of conditions. The layout of the lugs is aimed at rocky, hard packed tracks and trails with lager contact areas for exceptional traction on this terrain.
