AKU Tribute III GTX

Our View – AKU Tribute III GTX:

The AKU Tribute III GTX is an updated version of AKU’s all-round mountain hiking boot with a full grain leather upper and Gore-Tex Performance Comfort waterproofing. An injected PU midsole on a medium-stiff TPU lasting board provides excellent support, comfort and cushioning. The Vibram Sendera outsole delivers sure-footed grip across the mixed surfaces typical of British and European mountain terrain. Honest, reliable performance for hillwalkers who want a well-built leather boot without unnecessary complexity.

The full grain leather upper is durable, characterful and as with all natural materials improves with use. A Gore-Tex Performance Comfort liner adds additional reliable waterproofing for variable mountain conditions.

An injected PU midsole + medium-stiff TPU lasting board provides confident underfoot support on rocky ground which combines perfectly with the Vibram Sendera outsole which offers proven grip on mixed paths, rocky ground and woodland trails.

A perfect choice for UK hillwalking, mountain day hikes and mixed-terrain multi-day routes as well as those who prefer a classic leather boot with contemporary waterproofing and outsole technology.
