The new mud monster! Designed specifically to meet the demands of the muddiest, most challenging terrain, the Scott Supertrac RC is the perfect Fell, Mountain and Obstacle Racing shoe.
The deep lugged, aggressive outsole is the main feature of this shoe that really makes it stand out in terms of traction. The 7mm lugs and their layout has been optimised to provide the best grip in the worst conditions. This is a shoe that is really at home on soft ground.
Upper wise, Scott have taken a less is more approach with an almost translucent main material, but being made from Cordura Mesh with TPU layers this is nowhere near as fragile as it first looks. What it really does offer is an ultra-lightweight, almost unnoticeable feel and the breathability to keep your feet comfortable whatever the conditions. Extra protection is provided by the toughened toe guard to prevent impact injuries with rocks, stones and roots.
Featuring a 3mm heel to toe drop with 18mm cushioning in the heel and 15mm in the forefoot, the Scott Supertrac Speed RC, as the name suggests is designed for running fast! An ideal race shoe, the 215g (men) and 195g (women) weight will see you setting PB’s on every outing.
Despite its lightweight, the Supertrac Spped RC doesn’t compromise on cushioning which is taken care of by the AeroFoam+ cushioning and eRide rocker shaped midsole that provide great impact protection and excellent reactivity, so you’ll feel like every ounce of energy you put in is driving you forward.
The Scott Supertrac Speed RC is a dynamic, lightweight racing shoe that will maximise your performance in muddy races, but bare in mind this is a lightweight shoe and as such the longevity isn’t going to be as great as a heavier, more robust training shoe.
