Our View – Montane Gecko VP 20+:

The Montane Gecko VP 20+ is a trail running pack that is designed to fit like an item of clothing and move with you cross the terrain. It is lightweight, highly breathable and allows easy hydration on the go too.

The next generation Gecko VP20+ builds on the key principles of bounce free, long distance comfort whilst hitting the trail with larger loads. New lighter weight BOUNCE CONTROL fabric technology stretches with movement whilst significantly reducing bounce when under increased load.

This year the Gecko VP 20+ has been updated with improvements including lighter and faster harness closure system and updated compression and pole carry design further evolve the Gecko to new levels on performance.

• RAPTOR Cross Lite - A triple ripstop with excellent abrasion resistance combined with a polyurethane composite coating for a 50% increase in tear strength performance.
• RAPTOR Flex Lite - Recycled nylon plain weave, with 4 way differential stretch to accommodate expansion while minimising bounce. Provides excellent abrasion resistance and features a non-fluorocarbon water repellent finish.
• CONTACT DIA Mesh - Quick dry time for all day comfort treated with POLYGIENE® permanent odour control.
• Lightweight Body Contact Mesh - Resists water uptake and dries faster
• Harness Shaping - Close, secure fit that also allows freedom of movement
• Roll Top Closure - Improved water resistance and load carry
• All-in-One side compression - improved on the go compression and adjustment
