Our View – Ultimate Direction Adventure Vest 17:

The Ultimate Direction Adventure Vest has been overhauled this year with a great new design and lots if nice features that make this a brilliant long distance trail running pack. It boasts 17L of storage volume, the largest among the UD trail vests and features a rear weather resistant main pocket with clamshell opening and large rear compartment spacious enough for a 2L reservoir.

The fit has been updated for a more complete body wrap style around the upper body for an even more secure fit on the move. All the materials are super soft next to the skin and are highly breathable and quick drying too. Repositionable sternum straps with daisy chain positioning allow for a personalised fit.

 The pack includes 2 HydraPak Body Bottle 500's that fit neatly into the chest pockets and are secured with bungee cord to keep them safe and secure. Also, up front there are 2 large zip closed pockets just below the flask pockets that are ideal for essentials as they are water and sweat resistant and suitable for most phones to sit securely inside. Behind these are 2 large stuff pockets made from stretch mesh to stow items quickly on the go

At the rear you’ll find multiple pockets. In addition to the main roll top section, there is also a water-resistant secure zip pocket, and a large stretchy shove-it pocket and two stretch mesh side pockets too.

Poles can be attached in multiple locations at the front or back thanks to the four removable bungee loops with hooks that can be positioned as desired. All in all the updates to the Ultimate Direction Adventure Vest see it step up another level.
