Our View – OMM Rotor Smock:

The OMM Rotor Smock combines the windproof PointZero fabric inside and out, with 40g/m2 of PrimaLoft® Gold with Cross Core filling. Amazing insulation and windproofing make this an ideal cold-weather top.

Using quick-drying fabrics and with minimal weight, this is a smock for all seasons, whether at a summer overnight or as part of a winter layering system. The Rotor has been in the range forever but now features an updated cuff and hem design plus a new PFC-Free DWR, meaning no more nasty ‘forever’ chemicals.

PrimaLoft® Gold with Cross Core technology is PrimaLoft®’s highest quality synthetic insulation and replaces PrimaLoft® Gold Eco as OMM’s choice insulation. The result is significantly more warmth per gram and still retains 90% recycled content. Warmth without bulk, water resistant, breathable, packable.

Combined with our PointZero outer layer, to provide a wind & water-resistant shell. The same fabric used in our Sonic windproofs and sleeping bags.

Packs into its own pocket for compact storage or a minimalist pillow at the overnight. OMM insulation has the highest warmth-to-weight ratio for synthetic insulation by using the best quality PrimaLoft® combined with our ultra-lightweight outer layer.
