Our View – OMM Ultra Shoe Regular+:

The OMM Ultra Shoe is a trail running shoe designed to carry you in comfort over longer distances. It is well cushioned underfoot has a secure fit and is built with durability in mind.

The Regular+ model has a slightly wider fit than the Regular meaning you can accommodate any foot swell that often accompanies ultra distances. Or if you simply prefer a more roomy feel.

The OMM Ultra Shoe is built for runners going longer — where sustained comfort, protection and durability become critical.

Designed with increased cushioning compared to the Trail and Fell Shoes, the Ultra sits on a 30mm stack height with an 8mm drop, delivering a more cushioned platform that absorbs repeated impact and supports efficient forward movement over time. The lightweight EVA midsole is tuned to balance softness with energy return, helping reduce fatigue across extended efforts.

The upper is engineered specifically for long-distance comfort. A soft yet durable two-layer construction accommodates natural foot movement and swelling, reducing irritation over time while maintaining the resilience needed for repeated use. Combined with the X-Lace system, it provides a secure, even hold across the foot without excessive pressure or restriction.

Underfoot, a Vibram LiteBase outsole with MegaGrip compound and Traction Lugs delivers dependable traction across mixed terrain. The outsole balances grip and durability, ensuring consistent performance across long distances and repeated runs.
