Our View – Hoka Torrent 4 - Women's:
The Women’s Hoka Torrent 4 is a lightweight, plush trail running shoe with a relatively low profile by Hoka standards. Softer, bouncier, more stable and durable—the redesigned Torrent 4 is all about that cushion and honed for the trail. We upgraded the midsole compound for a lighter, cushier ride, increasing the stack height but nestling the foot securely in an Active Foot Frame™. Then we reworked the 5mm lugs for an even more aggressive bite, wrapping the high-abrasion rubber strategically up the outsole, and adding an extra plush sock liner for comfort for the long haul.
With added updates top to bottom, a new midsole foam, increased stack height, more rubber coverage with rearranged lug shape and orientation, and webbing heel pull tab.
