Our View – Paramo Women’s Cascada Jacket:

An absolute classic the Paramo Cascada Jacket has been in the range forever and rather than an overhaul the new version just tweaks a few details to refine this walking and nature pursuits jacket a little bit.

Made from Nikwax Analogy waterproof fabric with large walking-friendly pockets, this comfortable jacket is for people looking for a relaxed fitting outdoor waterproof with excellent features and functionality for all weather conditions.

Weatherproofing features that really standout are the Pump Liner throughout which is doubled up on the shoulders and centre back to provide extra comfort and weather protection when carrying a pack. A unique 2” drip skirt and scooped tail providing further protection in poor weather. The centre zip is well protected from rain ingress by a double layered storm flap as are the pockets which are also covered with storm flaps.

Storge is taken care of by two large & deep hand pockets on the hips and a generous chest pocket that accommodates an OS Map easily.

Fit wise the Cascada has always been generous, and the new version is no different allowing plenty of room for layers underneath. The updated design has taken away some of the excess fabric in the sleeves, but there is still plenty of space and movement is fully unrestricted. A drawcord at the waist and hips as well as wrist adjusters with Velcro closure ensure you can get a tailored fit as you desire.
